Hey Everyone!!!

My name is Cara Cioni and Im your American traveller for this awesome journey called The Gap Year!!! The Gap Year is a journey of a lifetime... and I am looking forward to meeting new people from around the world, crazy adventures, and living life to its fullest!!

Well after 3 months, I left Africa and now will be exploring a little bit of Europe! woo-hoo! Africa is such an amazing and beautiful country with so much to offer! Please, if you ever have the chance, try and visit Africa. It really opens your eyes to a whole new and extraordinary world. I'll be back tho...later on in the journey to West Africa!

a PADI pat on the back!
Okay....I DID IT!!!!!!! I am officially an open water diver. Round of applause...thank you very much! hehe ;)

Well, I first have to thank Simon and Darren from Simply Divers...because they "simply" made my diving experience amazing. As you all know, Amy, Matty and I met up in Egypt to get our diving liscence together. I was a bit spooked in the begining..it was alot to take on in such a short amount of time you know? Im from Chicago...a Lake Michigan girl...not so much an ocean lover...but that is definenty changing fast.

You see, I had to finish up a few skills before I could be an open water diver. One of them...oh man, was to take my mask completley off underwater and hold it in my hand and then place it back on and blow the water out of the mask. Yeah so...once I did that...dude what a relief....I couldnt believe I got it. I was so excited. Simon and Darren shook my hand underwater...we all gave eachother a high five and went for a little swim around the sea. :)

You know, Im a girl who has to finish something after I start it and as I said in the previous video, I had to do it at my own pace. Having my own instructors and basically the whole sea to myself was exactly what I needed. I of course asked Simon hundreds of questions that I already knew the answers too, but just wanted some reassurance and he gave me just that. I swam at my own pace. Im not a great diver by any means, but thats going to change once Im in the water more. Practice makes perfect right?? - and I intend on practicing alot when I have the chance.

Diving is such an unbelievable experience. I remember Matty saying its an underwater paradise and he couldnt be more right. My diving experience in Egypt was indescribable and I wouldnt have changed a thing. I thank them for that as well!

I am so pleased to have accomplished this...and I cant wait to suit up again, dive down below and be back in my own little underwater paradise!! :)

Sizzlin in Seville!!
Hola amigos!!

Im in Seville now...although Im leaving tommrow. Its been a quick two days. I didnt do that much here, except wander around this unbelivably gorgeous city and enjoy some authentic spanish tapas and plenty of SANGRIA!!! MMMM....

We went on a horse and buggy ride today...got a little color, saw some sights that I would have never been able to walk too...and just soaked in all the spanish culture!!! We are going to see a live Flamenco dance as well tonight...im so excitied for that. I would love to try the dance, but I kinda lack grace and elegance in my dancing abilities...im more of a running man, sprinkler, elevator kind of dancer!!

However, I love i here and defintley plan on coming back again!!!

ohh and Im loving the new video extra....my outfits rock okay....i love u too HQ!!! Actually, I dont know where that little get/up came from. It was a rough night before!

OMG....what a lovely surprise to wake up too! I cant believe it!! I was dead last and now ive moved up to 3!!! woo-hoo!!

ooo are you going to portugal?

if so i have some friends in a city called porto i can hook you up for sure,

its one of my fav citys i love it there and i no an amazing hostel which is run by a lovely family called Black and white hostel its a pretty little building which is amazing, porto are in the champions league so you could watch an amazing soccer match if you get the timing right.

were also are you going to go in Europe?

thanks for your loving...the situation was hard but hey less i managed to get through it alive!!! i am glad to say that i am in YOUR LAND BABY!!! Went to the bahamas for a couple of days but it rained everyday so we decided to leave a bit earlier and now we are in MIAMI!!! Arrrrggghhh i love it here :P :P :P especially SPACE BAR!!! OMG blew me out of my socks...I love it here...

i was thinking of maybe going to visit your family at some point while im in the US...do you think they will let me intrude and someone can take me around for the week? i will speak to HQ aswell
