Today, I build a bebo application!
I’ve my massive mug of caffeine and a good tutorial, so here goes. This may take a few posts though. First I read http://www.thoughtlabs.com/blogs/200... this tutorial from Thought labs blog. This is my primary reference for the introduction, and source for the first application I’ll make. To make an application you need to use either PHP, Java or ruby. I’ll go with PHP, and you need a server to host the PHP on. The application appears in two places, the canvas page, which takes up the entire page, and the profile box, which appears on your profile. You need to install the developer application on your bebo profile then you can build your application. The tutorial covers this in depth, but you choose a name, and tell bebo where your server is. I’m going to try the sample application from the tutorial, I’ll post back if it works. Cross posted from http://www.declanmeenagh.com
