Hey, thanks to everyone who came along last night to the gig in Cellar 35. As always the atmosphere was amazing and everyone really enjoyed them selves.
We broke the first few songs right down to acoustic guitars and hand percussion, later adding some drums and electric guitar to the set up which proved to be a nice dynamic. Some of our brand new tracks were played exclusively for Cellar35, which seemed to go down great. Towards the end of the set we played a 70s classic by Free “All Right Now”, we would like to give a big hand to everyone who was dancing and singing along! Really ended the night on a high.
It was a great gig last night at the Wizard Semi-final in the Tunnels. There was a good turnout, lots of local support, cheers to all you fine people who came along!
We are pleased to announce that will be playing the Final of the Wizard competition on Friday the 20th of June for a chance to play at the Wizard Festival later this year.
So it would be great if you could come down and show your support!
Estrella are now set to play in the semi-final of the Wizard Festival Battle of the Bands Competition in the Tunnels on Monday 9 June 2008.
The competition, which is being run in conjunction, with Original 106FM, is to win one of two slots to play at The Wizard Festival in New Deer near Peterhead on 22/23 August this year. The festival is shaping up to the THE premier music event in the North East with top name bands such as Supergrass already confirmed to play !
